Governor Parson Says if St. Louis Couple is Charged He Would Likely Pardon Them

Governor Mike Parson is saying he would likely pardon the St. Louis couple, Mark and Patricia McCloskey who brandished guns during a protest outside of their home last month if they are charged.

Parson made his remarks while talking with a St. Louis radio station on Friday.

An investigation into the incident on June 28th is underway by Democratic Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.

Governor Parson, Senator Josh Hawley and President Donald Trump have all criticized the investigation.

Parson said based on what he knows now a pardon is exactly what would happen.
