Bridge Collapses Near Westphalia
No injuries after the Penecostal Bridge near Westphalia collapsed yesterday (afternoon).
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol a truck carrying feed tried to cross the bridge that had a posted sign of a five ton weight limit.
The Highway Patrol says the truck was carrying around thirty thousand pounds over the weight limit of the bridge.
The driver could be issued citations for violating the weight limit.
