The reigning defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs will start their title defense tonight (Thursday) against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City will be one of two NFL teams hosting live crowds in week one, the other being the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Chiefs are allowing up to 22 percent capacity, which is about sixteen thousand fans.

All fans will be required to wear face masks at all times, and social distancing practices are in place along with hand sanitizer available all around the stadium.

Kickoff is at 7:20.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball has added a big commitment for the 2021 class.

Yaya Keita made the pledge to play for Mizzou on Twitter last night (Wednesday).

He plays at De Smet High School in St. Louis and is a 6’9, 225 pound center.

Keita is rated a three-star prospect and is ranked 22nd at the center position by rivals.com.

The Kansas City Royals shut out the Cleveland Indians 3-0 on the road last night (Wednesday).

The Royals have now won 2 straight.

The Mexico Bulldogs girls softball team will play their home opener tonight (Thursday) at Gallop Field when they face the Hannibal Pirates.

The Lady Dogs are 5-1 on the season and 1-1 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

The Lady Pirates come into the game with a 2-3 record and 0-1 in the NCMC.

First pitch is scheduled at 5pm.
