Centralia Homecoming Game Moved to South Shelby Due to Boone County Attendance Restrictions

The Centralia High School is announcing their Homecoming plans this year.

In a news release sent out from the district this morning, many activities associated with the homecoming this year will not happen due to COVID-19.

The activities that have been canceled include the student dance, pep assembly, bonfire, flashlight parade, community parade and alumni group visits.

Students will still participate in dress up days and classroom door decorating.

It is also being announced that due to attendance restrictions in Boone County, the home football game will be moved to South Shelby on October 9th.

The Centralia Homecoming Queen, King and Court will coronate at halftime of the football game in South Shelby.
