Protest On MU Campus

Protestors gathered on the University of Missouri campus yesterday (Friday) afternoon over Mizzou’s record on racial equality an inclusion efforts of students of color.

The demonstrators entered Jesse Hall and chanted throughout the building, calling for justice for Black students and the removal of the statue of Thomas Jefferson in the Francis Quadrangle.

Students met with MU Vice Provost Bill Stackman.

It is unclear whether the student protest will lead to repercussions.
