Jefferson City Middle Schools Extending Virtual Learning

Lewis and Clark Middle School and Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City is extending virtual learning for another week.

According to a press release from the Jefferson City School District the earliest students will return to in-seat learning will be Monday, October 26th.

The middle schools decided to temporarily shut down due to a staffing shortage and virtual learning started on Tuesday.

The district will reassess the situation again next week and provide an update at that time.
