Driver of Tractor Trailer Accused of Damaging Stop Sign and Stop Light in Mexico in Two Separate Incidents
The driver of a tractor trailer is accused of leaving the scene of an accident and causing damage to stop sign and stop light in Mexico after 2 separate accidents yesterday morning (Monday).
According to Mexico Public Safety the first accident happened at 7:09 at the corner of Agricultural and East Liberty when a freightliner driven by 55 year old Gregory Miller of Hannibal made a right hand turn onto Liberty and hit a stop light/crossing sign causing it to break.
The second incident happened just minutes later at the corner of Jefferson and Breckenridge.
According to the accident report the trailer then struck a stop sign.
Mexico Public Safety was able to contact and identify the driver after he left town.
Charges may be pending.
