The former Executive Director of the Fulton Housing Authority is facing multiple charges after an arrest this morning (Wednesday) by Fulton Police.

According to the Fulton Police Department an investigation began after a complaint was made against 43 year old William Christopher Garrett.

Investigators say Garrett terminated the lease on 4 different tenants, and then changed the locks on the apartments depriving the tenants of their belongings.

Police say Garrett did not file documents with the courts to have any of the tenants evicted prior to changing the locks.

Garrett was arrested for Second Degree Burglary, Felony Stealing and Second Degree Trespassing.

He was released to the Callaway County Jail with a bond of nineteen thousand dollars.
