Jefferson City Salvation Army in Need of Bell Ringers for Annual Kettle Campaign

The Jefferson City Salvation Army is in need of bell ringers for its annual red kettle campaign.

Local chapters will start Saturday, November 14th and end on Christmas Eve.

All of the volunteers will be asked to wear a mask, and sanitation wipes will also be available to wipe down the bells and kettles between each shift.

With a national coin shortage and less shoppers paying with cash, there will also be a QR code available at each kettle allowing people to donate online from their phone.

The money donated goes to help support the local charity’s food and nutrition program, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and casework services.
