COVID-19 Vaccine Likely Available to Administer in Missouri by December

The first COVID-19 vaccine will likely arrive in December according to the Director of Missouri’s Health and Senior Services Department Dr. Randall Williams.

Williams said yesterday that Pfizer is making the first vaccine and he thinks the vaccine will be available to administer in Missouri by about the first or second week of December.

Operation Warp Speed is the federal program that was created to expedite the development and distribution of 300 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

Williams says the first to receive the vaccine in December will be health care workers.
