KWWR Sports Report 11/12

Mizzou men’s hoops has 5 new recruits for the 2021 class, three of whom are from Missouri.

Guard Anton Brookshire and Forward Trevon Brazile both come from Kickapoo High School in Springfield and Center Yaya Keita is from De Smet Jesuit High School.

The other two out-of-state recruits are Guard Kaleb Brown from Huntsville, Alabama and Forward Sean Durugordon from Queens, New York.

Mizzou’s 2020-2021 campaign begins November 25th versus Oral Roberts at Mizzou Arena.

Mizzou Women’s Basketball head coach Robin Pingeton has added four prospects to her program.

It was announced yesterday (Wednesday) that Kiya Dorroh, Isabella Higginbottom, Sarah Linthacum, and Da’Necia Trusty each signed National Letters of intent and will continue their athletic and academic careers at the University of Missouri.

Dorroh and Higginbottom highlight the class as top-100 prospects, while Linthacum and Trusty boast potential at the forward position for the Tigers.

Several reports are saying Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been placed on the team’s COVID/reserve list.

The Chiefs have not confirmed the reports so far.

The news comes less than a week after the team announced that a staff member had tested positive for the cirus and was quarantining.

There is no indication if Hardman’s addition to the list is connected to this staff member’s case.
