KWWR Sports Report 11/13

District Championships will be on the line tonight in the high school playoffs.

Some of those games include:

  • South Callaway hosting Mark Twain
  • North Callaway hosts Hallsville
  • Battle goes to Washington
  • Helias is at home against Warrensburg
  • The Centralia Panthers try to upset the Blair Oaks Falcons
  • Monroe City is at Palmyra
  • Moberly Spartans will try to defeat the Hannibal Pirates for a second time this season

Mizzou Arena will be the site of this years college basketball’s Braggin’ Rights game between the Missouri Tigers and Illinois.

Mizzou won a televised coin flip last night to determine where the game would be played.

It will take place on December 12th with no fans in attendance.

Plans for next year and beyond is for the game to be played at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
