Missouri Highway Patrol Releases Thanksgiving Holiday Counting Numbers
The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting the numbers from the Thanksgiving holiday counting period. Ten people were killed on Missouri roadways this year. That number was down by one when compared to 2019.
There were 321 traffic crashes compared to nearly 1,600 last year, 72 were injured in those crashes while last year 634 were injured.
There were no drownings or fatal boating accidents in this year’s counting period which began Wednesday night at 6 and continued until 11:59 last night (Sunday).
