The Mexico Boys Basketball Team advanced to the championship game of the Montgomery County Tournament after defeating the Montgomery County Wildcats 67-61.

Mexico Boys will face New Haven for the Montgomery County Tournament Championship tomorrow night (Saturday) with a 7pm tip-off.

The Mexico Girls Basketball will battle Hermann for the Montgomery County Tournament Championship at 5pm tomorrow night (Saturday).

Two area football teams going for State Championships in football this weekend.

The Helias Crusaders will battle for the Class 4 state championship tonight (Friday).

Both the Crusaders and their opponent, MICDS, a St. Louis Private school, come into the game unbeaten this season.

Kickoff is at 7 in Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City.

The Blair Oaks Falcons will look to win a second football state championship in 3 years tomorrow (Saturday).

They will face the Maryville Spoofhounds in the Class 3 State Championship tomorrow night at 6pm at Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City.

Blair Oaks won the State Championship 2 years ago in 2018.

The Kansas City Chiefs are announcing that tickets for potential postseason games will go on sale starting Monday.

Season ticket holders will get first crack at those seats.

Any remaining tickets will be sold in grouped pod seats, and those tickets are expected to be released as single-game tickets on December 11th first to Jackson County taxpayers at 8am and then to the general public.

The team is announcing a reduced capacity at the games along with a number of safety plans in place.
