Missouri Department of Conservation Closing Commission Headquarters

The Missouri Department of Conservation will close its Commission Headquarters and Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City to the public starting on Monday, December 14th amid rising COVID-19 concerns.

According to an email there currently is no timeline on reopening the buildings, and staff will reassess at the beginning of 2021.

The nature trails, pavilion, and other outdoor areas will remain open at Runge, however outdoor restrooms will also close to visitors starting on Monday.
