Montgomery County Man Accused of Burning His Roommate With Propane Torch

A Montgomery County man is charged with Second Degree Domestic Assault, Armed Criminal Action and property damage after an arrest where he is accused of burning his roommate multiple times with a propane torch.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a residence on Monday in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

According to court records, Scott Deberry allegedly used the propane torch on his roommate burning the victim on the arms, fingers and hands.

The victim showed the deputy a video of the incident according to court documents.

Deberry left the residence and was found next door and arrested.

He is in the Montgomery County Jail with no bond set at this time.
