Five Fatalities Reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol During Christmas Holiday Counting Period

Five fatalities are being reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol over this year’s Christmas Holiday Weekend.

No drownings or boating fatalities.

Two of the fatalities occurred in the Lee’s Summit area, one fatality reported in Weldon Spring, and Willow Springs and Jefferson City.

62 DWI and a total of 175 traffic crashes were investigated by the Highway Patrol during the counting period which started on Thursday, December 24th, at 6pm and ended last night (Sunday) at 11:59pm.
