KWWR Sports Report 12/30

A full slate of basketball games is planned at the Mexico High Sports Complex tonight (Wednesday).

It starts at 5pm with the Mexico JV Girls facing Kirksville in Gooch Gym.

Also at 5 the Mexico JV Boys will face Kirksville on the Gary Filbert Court.

The Mexico Varsity Girls tip at 6:15 against Kirksville on Filbert Court and that game will be followed by the Mexico Varsity Boys against Hallsville.

Gates open at 4:30 this afternoon with limited attendance.

The 12th ranked Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team is set for the SEC-Opening showdown against the 7th ranked Tennessee Volunteers at Mizzou Arena tonight (Wednesday).

Mizzou is seeking its 17th, 7-0 start in its 115-year history.

The Tigers is just one of 26 remaining unbeaten teams nationally.

Tip off is at 8pm.

Mizzou Athletics was the recipient of a ten million dollar gift yesterday (Tuesday) for a new indoor football practice facility.

The donation was anonymous and marks the fifth, eight-figure gift in Mizzou Athletics history, and the third department has received in the last 5 years.
