Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball Teams With Twin Wins at Home

The Mexico Boys Basketball Team remained undefeated tonight (Wednesday) with an 81-56 non-conference win over the Hallsville Indians.

The Mexico Boys would trail 22-13 after the first period, and would then come roaring back.

Four Bulldogs got into double figures in the scoring book, led by Isaiah Reams and Raef Yager with 18 points each.

Peyton Willer hit 4 three pointers and had 12.

Drew Blevins finished with 12.

Daeye Miller had 9, Jordan Mitchell with 3 and Tobias Chatman had 2 points.

The Mexico Boys improved to 6-0 on the season, and next play on the road against the Fulton Hornets on Monday, January 4th.

The Mexico Girls Basketball Team picked up their 2nd North Central Missouri Conference win of the season tonight (Wednesday) with a 55-43 win over the Kirksville Tigers.

Mya Miller went off with a 37 point performance and going 12 for 15 from the free-throw line.

Riley Thurman put up 6 points, Taylor DeMint had 5, Elizabeth Joiner with 3 and Riley Blevins with 2 points.

The Mexico Girls improved to 6-2 on the season and next face Bowling Green on the road on Thursday, January 7th.

In other games tonight the Mexico JV Girls lost 29 to 23 to Kirksville.

The Mexico JV Boys defeated the Hallsville Indians 49 to 45.
