Fulton Man Arrested Twice on New Year’s Day

A Fulton man is in the Callaway County Jail after being arrested twice yesterday (Friday).

Fulton Police Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the middle of the road at Randall and Gary Streets around 11 yesterday morning.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was identified as 26 year old Thomas Epperson who was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Later in the day Epperson was released from the Fulton Police Department and was seen in the area of the tow company that had removed the vehicle involved in his first arrest.

A short time later the tow company reported a burglary and the vehicle Epperson had been driving was reported stolen from the tow company.

Police say they found Epperson along with the vehicle in the 200 block of Jefferson Street, where he was arrested for a second time yesterday.
