The Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will play a double header in Bowling Green tonight (Thursday).

For the Mexico Boys it will be their second road game this week as they put their undefeated 7-0 streak on the line.

The Mexico Girls are in search of their 7th win of the season.

The girls will play the first game with a 5:30 tip followed by the boys.

In high school basketball last night (Wednesday) it was the Community R6 Lady Trojans defeating New Franklin 60-31 in the 2nd round of the New Franklin Tournament.

The Lady Trojans will play for the championship tomorrow night (Friday) at 7.

The Van-Far Lady Indians defeated North Callaway 41-34.

Van-Far’s Devin Kessler finished with 15 points.

While North Callaway’s Abrial Burger led all scorers with 20.

The North Callaway girls will next play in the South Callaway Tournament on Monday night when they face Hermann.

With no preseason games being played in the NHL this season the St. Louis Blues coaching staff is trying to find ways to give players a full game-day experience.

The Blues held the first of 2 evening scrimmages during Training Camp last night (Wednesday).

During the morning skate they are working on the power play and then they go home, take their nap, and come back that night according to Head Coach Craig Berube.

The regular season begins on January 13th.

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team have dropped five spots from 11th to 16th in the daily NET rankings.

The Tigers dipped five spots after the second half collapse and 78-63 loss to Mississippi State on Tuesday night.

Mizzou will try to rebound on Saturday night when they host LSU.
