SSM-Audrain Hospital Relaxing Visitor Restrictions Starting January 11

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Audrain is announcing that starting Monday, January 11th visitor restrictions will be relaxed.

According to a news release from the hospital the change is due to a decrease in community transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

All non-COVID positive patients will be welcome to have one support person at a time, over the age of 16, during designated hours.

Exceptions may be made for end-of-life situations.

The support people will need to enter through the Emergency Room Entrance between 8am and 8pm and undergo a screening, wear a face mask covering both nose and mouth, stay in the patient room or designated waiting area, and follow hand hygiene and social distancing guidelines.
