The Mexico Girls Wrestling Team competed at the Girls Capital City Tournament on Friday.

Abbey Drew took first place in the 122 division.

Choice Foster with a second place finish at 143.

Brett Iman with a second place finish.

And Katie Bowen took home 4th place honors.

The girls team will turn around and wrestle at the Girls Marshal tournament today (Saturday) at 1pm.

The No. 13 Mizzou men’s basketball team has paused all team activities as a result of COVID-19 positive test.

Mizzou was scheduled to host LSU tomorrow night, but that game has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. The status of both Mizzou’s Jan. 12 game vs. Vanderbilt and Jan. 16 game at Texas A&M is still to be determined.

Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce is a unanimous choice for the Associated Press NFL All-Pro Team.

The announcement was made yesterday (Friday) as Kelce swept the votes from a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the league.

It is the 3rd All-Pro selection for Kelce.

Joining Kelce on All-Pro Team is his teammate wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
