Wet Road Conditions Being Reported for 1/15

Motorists are being warned that roads are becoming wet this morning due to winter weather in the area.

According to Brian Untiedt, area engineer with MoDOT, Highway 63 in Columbia is starting to cover up with snow.

Bridges and overpasses could be slick on your commute into work this morning and heavy winds and snow could reduce visibility.

The snow is expected to continue over the next several hours.

Drivers are being asked to slow down and have a plan for when returning home this afternoon.
