Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Replaces Laptops

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies have new laptops in their patrol cars at no cost to the county.

Sheriff Craig Allison says they applied in November for funding for the new units and it was approved.

The laptops came from PeaceMaker Technologies and are infused with anti-microbial agents and come with a video conference option that allows deputies to interact with those in quarantine.

Administration laptops are being replaced a well through a separate funding source.

The projects had a combined cost of $76,500.
