The Mexico Lady Bulldogs will face the Centralia Lady Panthers in the semi-finals of the Macon Tournament tonight (Wednesday).
The #2 seed Mexico comes in with a 9-2 record and face the 3rd seed Panthers who are 8-3 on the year.
Tip-off is at 6:30.
In High School Basketball last night (Tuesday) the Community R6 Lady Trojans remained perfect on the season defeating Cairo 43-30 on Senior Night and improved their record to 12-0.
The Lady Trojans survived a first half scare as they trailed by three going into halftime.
Lady Trojans Head Coach Bob Curtis says defense saved the game as they allowed just 11 points in the second half.
Sarah Angel finished with a game high 13 points, and 8 steals.
Alexis Welch had 10 points and 5 rebounds.
For the seniors it was Brianna Beamer with 9 points, Emma Hombs with 4, Emmi Johnson with 2, and Emma Angel with 2.
Shelby Clark rounded out the scoring book with 2 points.
The Lady Trojans will play next on the road at Paris on Friday.
In Macon Tournament last night (Tuesday) the Kirksville and Centralia boys advanced to the semifinals.
Centralia took out Harrisburg 72-57.
Four Panthers scored in double digits.
Kirksville dominated Marceline 69-30.
Kirksville and Centralia play in the semifinals tomorrow night (Thursday).
The North Callaway Thunderbirds boys and girls split a doubleheader with Wellsville-Middletown last night.
The North Callaway girls won their 2nd game in a row by beating the Tigers 35-31.
Abriel Berger had 16 points and 6 steals.
The North Callaway Boys lost 67-61.
Wellsville had 5 players in double figures.
The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Wrestling Team defeated Moberly in a home meet last night.
Picking up wins for the Bulldogs were Keith Ransom, Jokiah Sewell, Ricardo Juarez, Dylan Mosley, Terrell Williams, Gavyn Martin and Morgan Grubb.
The 19th ranked Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks 81-70 at Mizzou Arena last night (Tuesday).
Senior Jeremiah Tilmon, Jr. continued his torrid stretch, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Tilmon has 4 double-doubles in his last 6 games.
With the win Mizzou improved to 9-2, which is the best 11-game start for the Tigers since the 2013-2014 season, in which they started 10-1.
Mizzou hits the road on Saturday for a rematch against the 6th ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
Missouri football is announcing another addition to its 2021 recruiting class yesterday (Tuesday) with the commitment of center Isaac Zatechka.
He is a walk on at Mizzou and was named to the All-Nebraska teams by the Omaha World-Herald.
He also had preferred walk on offers at Kansas State and Nebraska.

Sarah Thomas will become the first woman official to officiate a Super Bowl.
The NFL made the announcement yesterday (Tuesday) that Thomas will serve as a down judge on the crew at Super Bowl 45 in Tampa, Florida.
Thomas joined the NFL in 2015 as its first female on-field official.
