New Equipment at Audrain County Jail Reveals Hidden Drugs in Inmate

An inmate at the Audrain County Jail is facing additional charges after a new body scanner revealed hidden drugs yesterday (Tuesday).

According to the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office Arlie Nole Jr. was booked into the jail for driving while revoked and a traffic violation.

When Nole was scanned with a full-body scanner deputies noticed an anomaly in the image, and over 19 grams of Methamphetamine was found hidden in or near his rectum according to the sheriff’s department.

The body scanner was installed recently due to CARES Act funding and limits staff members physical contact with inmates.
