Vaccine Rollout and COVID-19 Testing Update in Audrain County

More COVID-19 vaccine doses are being ordered by both the Audrain County Health Department and Arthur Center Community Health.

The Health Department has received 400 doses so far with 400 more on order.

Eighty percent of their supply is earmarked for law enforcement, fire and EMS providers who are beginning to get vaccinated, with the remainder set aside for those 65 or over and those with comorbidities.

The Arthur Center has ordered 400 doses as well.

SSM Health will begin offering vaccines to their patients meeting the state’s criteria tomorrow (Thursday) at their Internal Medicine Clinic in Mexico.

In other COVID-19 testing news, the Arthur Center will have a drive-thru testing site Monday, January 25th from noon until 4pm at Presser Arts Center.

No doctor’s order is need, but online sign up is required.
