Moberly Man Stolen Bicycle and Resisting Arrest

A Moberly man is in the Randolph County Jail after an arrest last night (Sunday) where he is accused of riding a stolen bicycle and resisting arrest.

According to Moberly Police an officer was responding to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 400 block of Woodland Avenue, while in route the officer observed a man riding a bicycle from the location.

The man was identified as 33 year old Anthony Nash and officers say he refused to stop and attempted to flee, and fought actively on the ground with the officer.

Nash was eventually taken into custody and was found to have an active warrant, and during a search police say they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
