Three Arrests Made in Connection to Stolen Vehicles from Mexico

Mexico Public Safety says they took 3 reports of vehicles stolen overnight on Saturday.

An initial investigation indicated the suspect were part of a larger group of individuals, operating out of St. Louis, who travel to other areas stealing from unlocked cars and stealing cars that are unlocked with the keys inside and were in Mexico in November.

Last Thursday, January 21st one of the cars recently stolen from Mexico was found abandoned in St. Louis.

On Friday, January 22nd officers from Carrollton, Illinois found a 2nd stolen vehicle from Mexico as the occupants were trying to steal a car in Carrollton.

After a pursuit officers report catching and arresting 3 of the four people.

The arrests included 35 year old Corvis D. Johnson of Belridge, Quindarion L. Wright of St. Louis and 22 year old Jamie M. Dwyer of St. Charles.
