Missouri Bill Would Allow Deadly Force Against Protestors on Private Property

Members of a state Senate committee are looking at a bill that would allow the use of deadly force against protestors on private property.

A debate took place yesterday (Monday) and if the legislation is passed it would give immunity to people who run over protestors blocking traffic, and would make demonstrations blocking traffic a felony crime.

Supporters of bill said blocking traffic can be dangerous if blocks ambulances or police from responding to emergencies.

Those against the bill say enacting it would encourage vigilantism.
