Snowstorm Causes Numerous Crashes on Mid-Missouri Roadways

Accumulating snow is to blame for multiple crashes on mid-Missouri roadways yesterday (Wednesday).

The Missouri Highway Patrol tweeted there were a total of 14 vehicles that went off the roadway yesterday (Wednesday) morning on Route UU, south of I-70 in Boone County.

MoDOT officials are warning that any snow that refreezes the roads overnight could likely cause vulnerable spots especially on untreated bridges and overpasses.

Troopers are urging drivers to slow down and avoid aggressive driving.
