Sturgeon Neighborhood Vandalized

Damage is being reported in a Sturgeon neighborhood this week after vandals apparently ran over mailboxes, and ran a truck into a resident’s machine shed.

A Boone County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to investigate the vandalism on Johannsen Road and Sydow Road on Monday morning.

A road sign was also damaged.

Authorities believe the vandalism happened on Sunday night.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a large truck with large tires.
