MU Health Care Providers to Start Administering COVID-19 Vaccines at Faurot Field

MU Health Care providers will start giving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines at Mizzou’s football stadium today (Thursday).

Over 2,000 doses are expected to be given today and another 2,000 doses on Saturday.

People over the age of 65 and those who have a health risk signed up for the shots through an online survey.

According to MU Health Care only 4,000 people will get a shot because vaccines supplies are low.

If someone does not show up for their appointment today or Saturday, someone else will get an invitation for an appointment for Sunday or Monday.

Doctors are guaranteeing none of their vaccine would go to waste.
