Additional Charges Filed in Child Sex Crimes Case Against Audrain County Man

Amended charges are now added in a case where an Audrain County man is accused of child sex crimes.

In a social media post today the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office says a first amended complaint was filed in the State vs. William Dahl that includes five additional felonies for reported kidnapping and sexual kidnapping and sexual conduct concerning Confidential Victim 3, a 12-year old girl.

The conduct occurred in December 2020.

On February 4th, the Missouri Department of Social Services State Technical Assistance Team with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at the 36 year old Dahl’s Audrain County residence, and placed him under arrest.

He is also accused of a sexual exploitation of a 16 year old Audrain County girl.

According to Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Shellabarger a third victim is a minor, however her age is not being released at this time.

Investigators continue to follow up on numerous leads, and if anyone has knowledge of Dahl or these incidents, they should contact law enforcement.

His next court date is scheduled for February 16th at 8:30am.
