Second Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduled at Mexico Memorial Airport Cancelled for This Week

This week’s COVID-19 mass vaccination event at the Mexico Memorial Airport is being cancelled.

Governor Mike Parson made the announcement yesterday (Monday) the event that was scheduled for Friday, February 19th for those that received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on January 29th is being canceled in the interest of safety due to extreme winter weather.

According to Audrain County Health Department Director Craig Brace details on the canceled event will be forthcoming before the end of this week after members of the health department, the Missouri National Guard and the Audrain County Emergency Management Agency are able to meet and decide on the best date possible for residents and all involved.
