The Community R6 Boys and Girls Basketball Teams picked up road wins last night (Thursday) against Madison.
The Trojans boys topped Madison 67-25, while the girls picked up a 73-22 victory.
The Trojans and Lady Trojans will be back in action tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm at Glasgow.
The St. Louis Blues defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-2 in overtime last night (Thursday) at the Enterprise Center.
Brayden Schenn tied the game with 40 seconds left in the third for St. Louis, then David Perron scored a power-play goal with just a minute left in overtime to propel St. Louis to the victory.
The 2 teams will play again in St. Louis tomorrow (Saturday).
Nominees for the 2021 McDonald’s All-American class has several Missouri athletes on the list.
On the men’s side, Springfield Kickapoo’s Anton Brookshire ranked 91st in the nation who will be wearing a Tiger uniform next year, made the nomination list for the Midwest region.
On the women’s side, 3 of Robin Pingeton’s signees made the list that include Kiya Dorroh, Arkansas’ Izzy Higginbottom and Jefferson City’s Sarah Linthacum who ranked 3rd overall in Missouri.
