Mexico FFA Members Exceed Food Collection Goal

Mexico FFA members have exceeded their goal for their 3rd annual Bulldog Food Insecurity Day held Saturday.

Members collected canned and non-perishable food items at Utterback Crop Insurance, Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners, Melody’s Quality Jewelry, MFA Agri-Services and at the Ag Building at the high school.

The goal for event was 500 pounds… they collected 686 pounds.

Monetary donations totaled $1,280.

The food and money will be delivered to the Laura Miller George Help Center in Mexico to assist the food pantry.
