The Community R6 Lady Trojans will begin District play tonight (Wednesday) in Laddonia when they face Higbee.

The Lady Trojans received a first round bye as the number seed in the district bracket with a record of 22-1.

Tip-off tonight is at 6pm.

The Community R6 Boys Basketball Team is moving on to a District Championship game after defeating Jamestown 50-46 last night (Tuesday).

The Trojans will battle Higbee tomorrow night (Thursday), the winner will move onto sectionals.

For the second straight season the Montgomery County Boys and Girls Basketball Teams finished as EMO Conference champs.

Last night (Tuesday) the Lady Wildcats defeated the North Callaway Lady Thunderbirds 57-11.

In the boys game Elijah Carter scored 20 to put Montgomery past North Callaway 54-26.

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team dropped a tight contest to Ole Miss, 60-53, last night (Tuesday) at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers battled back to take the lead in the 2nd half after trailing by double digits, however the Rebels’ final surge proved to be too much in the game’s last 4 minute stretch.

Senior forward Jeremiah Tilmon, Jr. claimed his 7th double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds and added 4 blocks.

Up next Mizzou hosts Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday night at Mizzou Arena.

St. Louis Blues defenseman Carl Gunnarsson will miss the rest of the season after suffering a right knee injury on Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Gunnarsson is currently undergoing further orthopedic evaluation and imaging to determine the full extent of the injury.
