Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce Sets Reschedule Date for Annual Dinner and Auction

The Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce has set the Annual Dinner Meeting and Auction for April 9th at the Missouri Military Academy Gymnatorium.

COVID-19 precautionary measures postponed the dinner usually held in January.

The Chamber says the event is being moved to the MMA this year to ensure guests are able to be more spaced out. Mexico resident Deb Hill-Haag his been named the 2020 Colonel C.R. Stribling Jr. Community Service Award recipient.

Some of the other awards to be given out include the President’s Award to Todd Yager.

The Civic Award to the Audrain County Health Department and the Educator of the Year to Peggy Reynard.

Reservations for the event can be made through the chamber and will be accepted through March 19th.

Tickets are $40 each.
