The Community R6 Lady Trojans Basketball Team will have a showdown with Leeton tonight (Wednesday) in the first round of the sectional playoffs.

Tipoff is at 6pm.

The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team played a solid game defeating the Hannibal Pirates 69-43 in the semifinals of Districts last night (Tuesday).

With the win the Bulldogs improved to 20-3 on the season and will play the Kirksville Tigers for a District championship on Friday night.

The North Callaway Thunderbirds Boys Basketball Team had their season come to an end last night (Wednesday) with a 58-42 loss to the Hallsville Indians in Districts.

The Thunderbirds boys finish the season with a 12-13 record.

Hallsville will face Macon for a District championship tomorrow night (Thursday).

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team will be on the road tonight to face the Florida Gators.

It will be the first meeting for the 2 teams this season.

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins tied 0-0 in 7 innings yesterday (Tuesday) in Spring Training.

Cardinals Veteran pitcher Adam Wainwright looked sharp in his debut, notching a strikeout in 2 perfect innings.

The Kansas City Royals lost 3-2 to the Chicago Cubs.
