Bomb Threat at Sturgeon Schools Causes Evacuation

Sturgeon schools enter crisis protocol today (Friday) following a bomb threat.

According to a letter from the district to staff and parents around 1:30 this afternoon (Friday), school was evacuated after a staff member reported the threat of a bomb had been written on a bathroom wall in the K-8 building.

Sturgeon Police and the Boone County Sheriff’s Department responded and with the use of a K9, determined it was safe for students to return to the building.
