Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball District Champions

The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball are District Champions after defeating the Kirksville Tigers for a third time this season, winning 62-51 tonight (Friday) at the Gary Filbert Court at the Mexico High School.

The Bulldogs never trailed in the game.

Junior guard Isaiah Reams finished with 19 points and now has 999 points in his high school career.

Daeye Miller put up double digits with 16.

Drew Blevins threw down 10 points.

Raef Yager had 9 and Michael White rounded out the scoring book with 8.

The Bulldogs notched win number 21 on the season and are headed to the State Sectional playoffs for a matchup against the Kearney Bulldogs next week on Tuesday night at 6pm.
