The Mexico High School Baseball Team will take their first road trip of the season tonight (Tuesday) when they battle the Hallsville Indians.

The Bulldogs are 1-2 on the season-Hallsville is playing their first game of the year after having their game against Bowling Green scheduled for this past Saturday postponed.

Varsity tips at 5pm.

The Mexico Boys Tennis Team picked up a 7-2 win over Capital City High School yesterday (Monday).

The Mexico Girls Soccer Team is on the road against Fatima with a 5pm start.

The annual Pro Day at the University of Missouri is in the books.

The event took place yesterday (Monday) and was highlighted by Larry Rountree, Nick Bolton and Tyree Gillespie performing combine and positional drills for coaches and scouts from 29 NFL teams.

All participants ran a 40-yard dash, 3-cone drill, short shuttle and participated in the bench press and positional drills.

This year’s Pro Days at various college campuses around the country replaced the NFL’s annual Scouting Combine in Indianapolis due to the pandemic.

In Spring Training Baseball yesterday (Monday) the St. Louis Cardinals lost 7-2 to the Miami Marlins.

The Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres played to a 9-9 tie.

The St. Louis Blues had their two game winning streak come to an end last night (Monday) with a 5-1 loss on the road to the Vegas Golden Knights.

Vince Dunn scored for the Blues and Jordan Binnington made 30 saves.
