Audrain Health & Community Leaders Meet for Weekly Discussion

The Audrain County Health Department inter-collaborative meeting today (Wednesday) clarifies the registration process for the mass vaccination clinic April 6th at the Mexico YMCA.

Once residents register on the state’s COVID navigator website, they may begin making appointments on March 30th.

Audrain County is ahead of the state average of eligible residents who have received their first vaccine – 41% of eligible Audrain Countians have their first shot compared to the state average of 37%.

During the virtual meeting, MMA reported that cadets will begin leaving campus tomorrow (Thursday) for Spring Break with a return on April 6th and will return to quarantine upon their return followed by testing and eventually back to in-person classes.

The Arthur Center reported that last week, they administered 600 doses of the vaccine.
