Noble Health Holds Town Hall Meeting in Mexico Tuesday Night

Noble Health, owners of Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico, now have a wish list of services the community wants following a town hall meeting last night (Tuesday) at the Elks Lodge in Mexico.

Some of the services residents want to see include pain management, dermatology, ICU, and pediatric services.

Don Peterson, executive chairman of Noble Health, provided an update on what services were already planned for a return, including sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, pain management, and obstetrics.

Peterson also said research they conducted last year showed a staggering statistic.

Audrain Community Hospital CEO Amy O’Brien addressed the concerns of re-starting ICU services by saying it is planned for, however the problem at this point is the need for nursing staff.

O’Brien and Peterson both iterated that the hospital is actively looking for nurses to fill a number of roles at the hospital.
