Centralia Garage Fire

No injuries reported after a garage fire last night (Wednesday) in Centralia.

The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to the 8000 block of east Mclane-Daling road just after 7:30.

Officials with fire department reports the 2-car garage, 2 cars and other items in the garage suffered heat damage and heavy smoke.

The homeowners were at home and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
