Yadier Molina will be starting at catcher for the 17th consecutive year for the Redbirds.

Molina holds the longest streak for a catcher with the same team in the history of baseball.

St. Louis sends Jack Flaherty to the mound for his second straight Opening Day start.

First pitch is set for 3:10 this afternoon.

The Kansas City Royals open up play at Kauffman Stadium when they host the Texas Rangers.

Brad Keller will be on the bump for the Royals while the Rangers counter with Kyle Gibson.

The game has a 3:10 start.

In college basketball Torrence Watson is the latest Missouri Tiger player to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) Watson became the 5th Tiger to do so in just over a week.

He joins Xavier Pinson, Parker Braun, Ed Chang and Mark Smith to enter the Transfer Portal.
