Missouri Military Academy’s Fusileer Drill Team Wins First Place in National Competition for Third Consecutive Year

For the 3rd consecutive year the Missouri Military Academy’s Fusileer Drill Team has won first place in the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States.

Military schools from across the nation annually submit performance videos to be evaluated on the formation commander’s command voice and presence, the difficulty of commands, pacing and personal appearance and energy of cadets among other things.

The MMA Fusileers also earned top honors in 2019, 2020 and again this year.

The AMCSUS 2021 Drill Competition champion members include:

  • Gage Blanton, sophomore from Columbia, Missouri
  • Sun Kit Tsui, senior from Zhaoqing, China
  • Damien Brown, senior from Altus, Oklahoma
  • Rene Garcia Garza, junior from Cadereyta Jimenez, N.L., Mexico
  • Bryce Bowen, senior from Clive, Iowa
