What Will Be On The Ballot In Audrain County And Mexico For The Tuesday, April 6th Election

Voters in Audrain County will go to the polls for the April 6th Election tomorrow (Tuesday) with a Mexico City Council and Mexico School Board race plus a renewal of a .35 cent tax levy for the county road department and an existing bridge tax on the ballot.

Four candidates will be running for Mexico City Council with 2 open seats.

Incumbent Vicki Briggs.

Incumbent Chris Miller.

Josh Price.

Richard Gold.

The Mexico Board of Education has 2 open seats with 5 candidates running.

Incumbent Scott Nichols.

Randy Reinwald.

Marci Minor.

Andy Craig.

Keith Louder.

The Audrain County Commission will be asking county residents to approve 2 items on the April 6th ballot.

Audrain County Presiding Commissioner Steve Hobbs says the first will be a renewal of a .35 cents tax levy for the county road department.

Hobbs says they have replaced 77 deficient small structures in Audrain County over the past 5 years.
